Domenico Gallo. 91, of 799 Central Parkway died Saturday at his winter home in Hollywood, Fla., after a short illness.
Born in Dugenta, Italy, he came to the area 75 years ago. He retired from the General Electric Co. in 1957 after serving 42 years as a machinist. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and a member of its Men's Society. His wife, Agnes Diamonte Gallo, died in 1973.
Survivors include two daughts, Mrs. Louise Lupi and Sue Gallo, both of Schenectady; a son, Simeo J. Gallo of Schenectady; a sister, Mrs. Jennie DiCerbo of Manhasset Hills; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Calling hours will be after 7 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
