Giovannina "Jennie" Gallo DiCerbo

Mrs. Giovannina "Jennie" Gallo DiCerbo, 96, died Thursday at her daughter's home in Greentown, Pa., after a long illness. Born in Dugenta, Italy, Mrs. DiCerbo came to Schenectady in 1921.

From 1962 to 1993, she lived in Manhasset Hills, Long Island, moving to Greentown a year and a half ago. While in Schenectady, Mrs. DiCerbo was a communicat of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and a member of its Altar Society.

She was the widow of Vincenzo DiCerbo, who died in 1957. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine O'Bryan of Philadelphia, and Louise Pineiro of Greetown, and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the DeLegge Funeral Home, 1346 Chrisler Ave., followed at 9 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will be at St. Cyril Cemetery.
